At the Taphouse: Eayaes, Fox and the Bear, & Mosquito Cabaret

What a great show! Fox and The Bear have some glorious harmonies with their acoustic setting. Of special note was their cover of JC Folsom Prison Blues -- They employed a droning guitar backdrop that had me hearing bagpipes in the distance. I know that the Man in Black would have loved the vibe. Mosquito Cabaret brought a party, Mediterranean Punk if there is actually such a term And Eayaes blew the place apart. The crowd had dwindled by then but he brought his solo A game since his drummer got stuck out of town and couldn't make it. He really deserves more attention, great guy, great soul, great musician. All in all, I thought it was a highly successful night for all involved.
