Horse Feathers charmed at Toast last week with it's Northwestern brand of indie folk, on a leg of their tour to promote May's record release of "Appreciation." Nashville based James Wallace graced the stage with his one-band incarnation -- Skyway Man. Wallace has ties to Richmond's Spacebomb Records and Matthew White, who featured for LAVA in it's last mega-sized show three summers ago at O'Connor's. Norfolk songwriting stalwart, Logan Vath, opened the evening up with his Alt-Auteur brand of introspection. A good time was had by all, and then they went home.
